vWe see things not as they are, but as we are….Immanuel Kant
- Why is it important to accept myself just as I am?
- How can I accept myself when I am in a negative space?
- How can I accept myself when I know I am insecure?
- How do I know whether or not I accept myself?
- What is the difference between self awareness and self acceptance?
The beliefs we have can shape our entire lives and we may never know what they are. Find them. Then shape them so they work FOR you. Your self image is the lens through which you see the world and upon which you base all your decisions. Your perception is a projection and the world is a mirror.
Join me Lydia Mattison host of an Empowering Space- Your Hour of Power on Thursday 20th August 2009, with my special guest joining me for a second time, Dr. Sheila Radha Conrad as we discuss the Power of Self Awareness.
Sheila ’s titles are diversified: a Spiritual Guide, Philosopher, Truth Seeker, Aritist, Dancer, Lover of Life. She describes herself as a seeker of truth, equality and human justice. She has been a transformation counselor for 36 years. Her purpose is to assist people in coming to clarity and alleviating their suffering, so their innate joy, wisdom, and beauty will arise.
What is the balance point between self-acceptance and personal growth, wanting to grow and improve ourself?
Self acceptance - accepting yourself - the good, the bad and the ugly, without guilt or a sense of inadequacy versus setting goals and wanting to evolve and grow and experience something even better than you experience now?
How do we resolve this conflict?
What do we accept?
What do we change?
The Self Principle according to Robert Holden is an essential key to potential, and talent, transformation and growth, success and happiness. “The Self Principle states unequivocally that: the quality of your relationship with yourself determines the quality of your relationship with success, happiness and love, God, money, time, health, luck and everything.”...Success Intelligence - Robert Holden Phd.
- What is the relationship you have with yourself at this moment?
- How is that mirrored in your other relationships and your environment?
- How do the beliefs you hold about yourself create your reality?
- What beliefs have you accepted about yourself as truth?
