I am truly excited about my new website, as I was the first Caribbean coach to join and graduate from the International Coach Academy- Certified by International Coach Federation.
It has been a joyous and inspiring journey. Learning has never been so empowering in my life.
Why do our schools not use this valuable way of teaching -
Celebrating what is right!
Acknowledging one another for the valuable insights we each contribute to learning.
I feel compelled and passionate about sharing this with my country and introducing them to coaching. It has inspired me to want to work with our teachers, students and parents to encourage our learners to realize their true potential and go out into the world, confident in their ability to handle anything that comes their way. My intention is to help the learners discover their gifts, skills, talents and value to the community, and world so that they feel passionate, empowered, excited and on purpose to contribute their gifts to society.
I am in the process of creating a presentation for a college entitled
- An Empowering Space - where Teachers love to teach and Students love to learn.
We are all drops in a pond, How do you want to contribute?
As the sayings go:
Be the changes you want to effect in the world.
When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.

How do we get the student ready? Our whole lifestyle in Trinidad needs many upgrades,in particular civil living standards, starting in all the community centres in every county. They must be shown again how basic education can enhance their lives and ours. You can Join the COP; just maybe they will beat all the odds? and you can have a field day untangling all the ropes.

Harry,
Thanks so much for your comments. You should have a listen to my podcast Power of Enrolling Others with Frank Marinko,he runs a project “Coaching in Classrooms”, how do we get coaching into schools. Its running on the Blog talk player in the sidebar right now.
If we can start somewhere, I see schools and communities as the way to go. Coaching Teachers, Parents and Students. Opening up the perspectives of the next generation so that they have life skills that have never been taught in schools. It neglects these essential areas of learning:
*How best to learn
*How to maximize your wellness
*How to live life on purpose
*How to design and implement a fulfilling life
*How to be a catalyst or other people’s growth and development
*How to be a good spouse
*How to be an effective parent
After our education we spend about 90-95 percent of our lives functioning in these areas. Coaching in schools would fill the void.
How will it impact our world and country if people learned how to improve relationships in all areas of their lives including their relationships with time, energy, money and resources?
Even if out of 10 people you impact one and that one impacts ten, there will be ripple effects that will impact our environment.
